BAR 72 UPDATE

With the start of the competitive season upon us, we are excited to bring you an update on Bar 72 at the Dumbarton Football Stadium.

Bar 72 has become a popular hub for supporters, home and away, from the end of last season and even so already in our first couple of friendlies ahead of the new campaign.

The facilities have previously been run by external groups but we can reveal that a loyal Sons fan has taken on the running of the setup with all profits made set to go back into the club.

Jack Brough, who has plenty of experience in the hospitality trade, is leading the charge behind the bar and hopes that can it be another positive step forward for the club.

He said: “We’re really excited that Bar 72 is now being fully run by the club and hopefully it can be another way to bring in some income.

“Feedback in the early stages has been really promising, from home and away fans, and I’m happy with how it’s going so far.

“I’m always keen to hear from supporters, so if we don’t currently stock your favourite tipple or if there’s anything you think we could do differently on a match day then please let me know and I’ll see what we can do.

“We’re also looking for bar staff to join the team so if you are interested or have any questions then please get in touch.”

Shifts will be on a Saturday afternoon, though please note other functions will take place throughout the year.

This role is only suitable to those who are at least 18 years of age and whilst experience is preferred, it is not essential.

If you think are well suited or have any enquiries please contact dumbartonbars@gmail.com or call Jack on 07706603674.
