DEFENDER Aron Lynas is the next player to check into Dumbarton, signing a one-year deal today after leaving Albion Rovers, where he was club captain.
After starting his career with Cowdenbeath, Aron then moved to Alloa Athletic before taking his first real steps in senior football with East Stirlingshire in 2015.
He then joined Brechin City and was part of the Glebe Park squad which won promotion to the Championship in 2017.
Two years after that, he signed for Albion Rovers, and was absent from only two league games for the Coatbridge side last season.
Now 26, he is the latest player to add himself to Sons’ cause this season. Although he is mostly recognised at right back, Aron can also play in midfield.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Aron’s versatility is a major asset to his game and it is well known that he will put in a 100 per cent shift every time he plays. We look forward to working with him.”
