IT was another busy day at the C&G Systems Stadium as volunteers once again turned out to keep the venue in good condition during its extended break.
Numerous supporters gave up their time to come and perform various manual tasks around the stadium to get it ready for its scheduled return to action in October.
In no particular order, grateful thanks are extended to the following:
Brian Ferguson, Andrew Brown, Katrina Watson and Grant Hamilton for washing internal doors and then cleaning seats in the stand.
Douglas Allan, Dylan and Chloe, Cameron McIlroy and Max Clarke and two friends for cleaning seats in the stand.
Colin Maxwell for cutting back the growth in the car park area.
General manager Antonia Love said: “All volunteers were, once again, a credit to the club.
“A special mention also to safety officer and disability access officer, Jacqui Sibbald, who has done a power of work over the last few months ranging from painting of floors to tidying out rooms to organising kit with myself to making sure everywhere is cleaned and sanitised.
“There’s no task she won’t get stuck into!”
The next session will take place on Thursday, July 30, and offers of participation can be made by contacting Antonia at office@dumbartonfc.co.uk or 01389 762569.
