Dumbarton and Alloa Athletic shared the points in a six-goal thriller at the Marbill Coaches Stadium this afternoon.
Michael Ruth pounced on a mistake to put Dumbarton ahead on 5 minutes before goals from Luke Donnelly and Kevin Cawley turned things in the visitors favour.
Jinky Hilton brought Sons level on 64 minutes with Ruth netting his second to put the hosts ahead going into the final quarter of an hour.
It looked as if Dumbarton may have done enough to earn the victory only for a deflected Scott Taggart strike to fly into the net.
Sons are on the road next weekend, travelling north to take on Cove Rangers.
