AFTER a total of 74 appearances for the Sons, Andy Dowie has left the club as he pursues a career outside of football.
Dowie, who also scored 2 goals during his time at Dumbarton, captained the side for the last time yesterday afternoon against Brechin City.
Andy said : “It is with a heavy heart I have made this decision.I have throughly enjoy my time at the club and would like to thank the fans for their support and wish everyone connected to the club all the best in the future.”
All at Dumbarton FC wish him well and thank him sincerely for his contribution to the club.
