DUMBARTON have completed a one-year deal for winger Ally Love, who joins the club after leaving Clyde at the end of last season.
Aged 30, Ally has two promotions from League Two on his CV already, the first being in 2015 when he was part of the Albion Rovers side which won the championship.
Three years later, he helped Clyde to make the step up to League One through the playoffs.
In between those two successes, Ally was also part of the Brechin City squad promoted to the Championship in 2017.
Seven goals in 35 games was his return for Clyde last season before he left the club after four and a half seasons there.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Ally is a player I have been keen to have in my squad for a while, during my times in charge of Stranraer and Dumbarton.
“He is a proven player at this level and is a player capable of doing some very positive stuff. We look forward to seeing him play for us.”
Welcome to DFC Ally! Read his thoughts on joining Sons on the club website later today, and hear from him on our social media channels.
