ALL at Dumbarton FC are extremely saddened by news of the passing of our former player Adam Strachan, aged 35.
Adam had a brief spell with Sons during the 2009/10 season and played three games for us, including a 2-1 win at Peterhead in September 2009.
He played for Clyde and Albion Rovers during the rest of that season, and turned out for other clubs including Stenhousemuir, Arbroath, East Kilbride, Clydebank and BSC Glasgow.
The thoughts of everybody at Dumbarton FC are with Adam’s family and friends at this sad time.
