SONS academy players Dylan Young and David Connolly recently trained with Scotland’s U-16 squad with both lads gaining valuable experience.
Head of Youth Richie Salveta told us : “Both players enjoyed their involvement in the training camp and acquitted themselves well on the day.
“David Connolly also scored a goal in the bounce game arranged as part of the training camp.
“We’re delighted that David and Dylan had the chance not only to represent themselves and get the honour of being part of the national set-up, but that of the club’s academy.
“Things are going well and I’m pleased at our overall progress.”
