Lynne brings kiosks into club’s hands
A familiar face has taken over the club’s kiosks ahead of the new season, with Lynne Purdue taking over the running of our busy food and drink outlets.
Lynne, who also plays a vital role in graphic design on the media team, has extensive experience in catering – and will take over the running of the pie stalls as they return to club control having previously been franchised.
As well as significant investment in new equipment, the stalls will now offer a 10% discount on food and drink for Sons season ticket holders – and a refreshed menu, working closely with Pars Foods to provide a range of special pastries each month.
Lynne said: “It’s been a very hectic summer preparing for this, and I’m probably the only person delighted that we didn’t have a game at home until August!
“We’ve got everything in place now though and we’re looking forward to meeting all the fans this weekend – and throughout the season.
“We’ve made some changes to the menu and to the pricing for season ticket holders and we’re always happy to hear feedback from supporters as to what they’d like to see. A pie and a Bovril at the football is a key part of the matchday experience for loads of us, and it’s a great move to now have the kiosks back under the wing of the club.”
