We’ve all called it by this for a while. Now it’s officially its name.
From today our home stadium will officially be known as The Rock.
Previously called the Dumbarton Football Stadium, our iconic home will officially be renamed as The Rock. With Marbill Coaches remaining as naming partners at The Rock – Sponsored by Marbill Coaches.
The announcement was made during the Sonstrust Player of the Year night last night.
Executive Director Cameron Watson explained: “Dumbarton is iconic for The Rock and we’re so proud to have our stadium in its shadow.
“It seemed daft not to take advantage of this in the official name of the stadium and so, 26 years after moving in, we’re delighted that we’ll be officially able to welcome teams to The Rock next season – as well as seeing it used across media and official documentation.”
