A powerful and versatile midfielder, Kai made his SPFL debut with Sons in 2025 – joining Sons initally on a season long loan from William Hill League 1 side Kelty Hearts in July 2025, that was made permanent in January 2026.
A youth player at East Kilbride, he has also spent time with St Cadoc’s and Cumbernauld Colts. But made his name at Albion Rovers.
The 22-year-old featured 31 times, scoring three goals, last season at Cliftonhill – catching the eye as one of the standout performers in the Lowland League.
That saw a host of SPFL sides show interest, with Kai joining Kelty Hearts over the summer – before making the move on loan to The Marbill Coaches Stadium for the season, debuting in our Premier Sports Cup victory against Stirling Albion just hours after inking his deal. He signed an 18 month deal to remain in G82 until the summer of 2027 in January 2026.
