One of a trio of talented St Mirren youngsters to join Dumbarton on loan as part of a partnership agreement between the clubs, tenacious forward McCormick followed fellow Buddies Thomas Falconer and Carrick McEvoy at The Marbill Coaches Stadium.

It’s not his first taste of senior football however, having spent loan spells at Bo’ness United and Benburb – as well as netting his first senior goal in the Challenge Cup for St Mirren’s B team against Berwick Rangers.

Theo returned to his parent club on the 25th January 2026 having made 6 appearances in William Hill League 2 and 2 in the Premier Sports Cup.
