Incoming club owner Mario Lapointe will visit Dumbarton next week for the first time since agreeing to take over the club – and Sons’ supporters and sponsors have a number of chances to meet him in person.
First up, this coming Wednesday, 25th June, we have three opportunities for supporters or sponsors to “Meet Mario”.
Meet Mario 1:
12.30-1.30pm – For Sponsors Past and Present and Local Businesses
Venue: Boardroom, Dumbarton Football Club
Meet Mario 2:
5.00-6.30pm – For Supporters (no age restrictions)
Venue: Boardroom, Dumbarton Football Club
Meet Mario 3:
7.00-8.30pm – For Supporters (supporters aged 14-17 can attend with a supervising adult, while any under-14s require a supervising adult AND can only be in the pub if they are having food)
Venue: The Stags Head, 116 Glasgow Road, Dumbarton G82 1JN
In addition, ahead of our home friendly against St Mirren next Saturday, 28th June, Mario will be available to meet supporters on his first matchday at the stadium.
Meet Mario Matchday:
11.30am-1pm – For Supporters and Sponsors
Venue: Bar 72, Dumbarton Football Club
During all these events, Mario will give a short talk to those in attendance about his experience so far and ambitions for the future, and will also be keen to hear from supporters and sponsors alike about what DFC means to them.
