Second-half goals from Martin Rennie and Jake Dolzanski saw Forfar Athletic come out on top against The Sons at Station Park.

Dumbarton had the better of the first-half with Aaron Brown and Kai Kirkpatrick both going close, but it was the hosts who broke the deadlock earlier in the second period – as Rennie’s strike was deflected beyond Brett Long.

Dolzanski struck a second from close range with four minutes remaining to extend our wait for a first win of 2026.
