SONS under-17s defeated Livingston 5-3 yesterday in an entertaining match played at Hermitage Academy in Helensburgh.
Coach Richard Salvetta was delighted with his team’s performance in the 8-goal thriller.
Donald McCallum stood out with two strikes whilst Ally McKerracher, Alan Deans (pictured) and Conor Howe added to the tally.
“All round it was very pleasing”, said Salvetta “and the lads are playing with confidence.”
YDI trials for our Under-13s team for season 2013/14 take place over the next two Fridays (17th and 24th) at the Vale of Leven Academy starting at 6pm.
