WEDNESDAY’S Scottish Championship match-up with Livingston saw midfielder Chris Turner notch up his 50th league appearance for Dumbarton.
Unfortunately for Chris, he was replaced early into the game having sustained an ankle knock, however the major milestone still counts!
‘CT’ joined up at the Bet Butler Stadium on 30th August 2012 from Shamrock Rovers, but had to wait until September 29th to make his debut, also against Livingston.
His first game for the Sons was memorable for all the wrong reasons. He missed a penalty after Bryan Prunty was pushed to the ground and the game was lost 5-0.
In May last year, Chris put pen to paper on a new 2-year deal pledging his immediate future to DFC.
All at the Club would like to congratulate Chris on hitting the 50 appearances landmark and hope that he goes on to make many more in the gold, white and black stripes of the Sons.
