400 BARRIER BROKEN!

Saturday 30th June 2012

SEASON ticket sales at Dumbarton FC have crashed through the 400 barrier as expectant supporters look ahead to the new first division campaign.

Sons fans have rallied round and have responded to the innovative pricing policies including an early bird incentive making the price of football at the Rock amongst the cheapest in the division.

The news on season ticket sales offers encouragement and manager Alan Adamson is pleased that early purchases have allowed him to plan his budget with respect to his squad.

He said : “Fans have stepped up to the plate and with the close season now being so short, cashflow becomes important and season ticket sales have certainly helped with how we can make plans with our players.

“Having retained the core from last season’s promotion winning team we moved on to bringing in new players who Jack and I had targetted.

“Pre-season is going very well indeed and with the sqaud almost complete save for a couple of loan deals we are working on, it’s all systems go.

“Thanks to all supporters who this far have bought a season ticket.”
