SONS development squad played Arthurlie yesterday at Dunterlie Park in a pre-season friendly losing 3-2.
Head of Youth Richie Salveta who was in charge for the match felt that despite the scoreline, there were lots of positives to take from the game.
He said: “I really felt for the players yesterday.
“They actually deserved a better outcome than losing the game, but with the season just two weeks away, it was a good workout against a strong and experienced team.”
