SONS under 19s played Arbroath last Sunday and lost 3-0 to the Gayfield youngsters.
Coach Richard Salvetta commented: “We were unlucky to lose in what was a re-arranged league fixture which had been cancelled two weeks prior.
“The game was played at Crieff High School.
“It was 0-0 at half-time from a good first half performance from a young side.
“We lost a goal within 2 minutes of the restart and then chased the game, lost a second with 15 to go and then lost third in final minute.
“Performances are improving week to week but we are going through a below par spell just now and need a bit of luck to get ahead in a game to get a result.”
Celtic are this week’s opposition on Sunday 1st December and the game will be played at Barrowfield.
